KL & Freddie Productions
My most excellent friend KL Wong (the dodgy looking dude on the left) and I have been collaborating on music for a while. Our first alliance began way back in our university student days, with the musical "Speak of the Devil". The year was 1992. Finally in January 1999, after a long lapse (day time jobs have a habit of getting in the way), we submitted our first demo CD of songs to music publishing companies in Hong Kong. Of course, we were hoping that somebody would sing our songs, make them mega hits, and make us fantastically rich and famous. Well, the first wish came true, the second we're still hoping for, and the last, well, it just ain't possible with songwriting! Nevertheless, we were signed to a songwriting contract with Universal/Polygram Music Publishing (our special thanks to Matthew Ma). |

My personal thanks to KL: in setting me up with this site, his excellent singing on the demos and their audio production, and most importantly, the schmoozing with Universal in getting our deal! Visit KL's site for details on how the demos were put together, and also hear his cool answering messages based on popular songs! |
